So, I just wanted to drop by and see what's going on. As I suspected, not much of anything!! But since I'm here, I might as well type something, right??
So, life's kind of ironic at the moment....about 2 months ago, I quit my job at the home owner's association due to stress and went back to waiting tables. Well, here it is about 2 months later, and I'm quiting and going back to the association! The position I'm taking is one that was offered to me before I left, but I didn't take it. Had I done so 2 months ago, I would have gotten a raise and wouldn't have lost my vacation! Ugh.
Moving on.....
I don't know why, but I have this female friend of mine that is just confusing the shit out of me!! We're pretty good friends and talk to each other about problems with the opposite sex and we do tend to hang out as JUST FRIENDS. So, my roommate is going to be out of town for a few days and I invited her over on a night of her choice to watch movies and maybe have a few drinks. I expect nothing except to enjoy my friend's company. We tried to do this for my birthday this past December, but a pre-planned trip home for her conflicted with our plans, so we said we'd try again. (this was HER plan) So, I ask her to come by....she says she's not comfortable spending the night at a guy's house!! WTF? Am I missing something?
Ugh

She most likely thinks, I'm guessing, that there is danger of something happening if she spends the night. Once you get past the college days, there tends to be no reason to have aperson of the opposite sex stay over unless there is more than 2 people, or someone is getting some. Sucks, but thats how it rolls.
Sorry to hear about the job thing. You do what you gotta do.
